What ages do you accept?

We accept children from 6 weeks to 4 years old. Children graduate from the daycare on their 4th birthday.

Are meals and snacks provided?

Yes! We provide a nutritious morning snack and an afternoon snack daily. Parents provide lunches.

Do you offer drop-in care or hourly rates?

Currently, we only offer contracted full-time or part-time schedules. Parents are more than welcome to add an occasional drop-in day for an additional fee.

Do you offer half days?

Drop off is between 7:30 am - 9 am, and pick-up is between 4 pm - 5:30 pm. While you may pick up your child at any time, our rates reflect a full-day schedule.

How do I communicate with you during the day?

We send daily updates via Brightwheel and are always available by phone or email.

What’s your policy on sick children?

Children must stay home if they are sick (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) and must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.

Are you licensed?

Yes! We operate as a Certified Family Child Care provider in the state of Oregon, meeting all health and safety requirements.

What is your teacher-to-child ratio?

We have 2 teachers per classroom. The infant classroom hovers between a 1:3 and 1:4 ratio, while the toddler classroom hovers between a 1:4 and 1:5 ratio. There is also an extra person on campus to help during busy times of day and to float between classrooms.

What are the teacher’s qualifications?

All teachers are required to pass a background check, have current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certifications, have prior experience working with children in a daycare setting, and complete ongoing training certified by the state.

What are your closure dates?

Little Timbers is closed for all national holidays, as well as a week for spring break and the week of Christmas.
